First Global Turkish Drama Channel Officialy Starts Broadcasting

Cannes, France, April 07, 2019 – SPI/FilmBox announces the launch of the first global Turkish drama channel, Timeless Drama Channel (TDC). TDC is now broadcasting worldwide. The company has inked ten initial deals with various operators making the channel available in over one million homes.

Timeless Drama Channel is the first Turkish Drama Channel to make a global debut. The channel was created in partnership with Ay Yapim, one of Turkey’s top producers and creator of many award winning Turkish TV series. Timeless Drama Channel has over 800 hours of fresh content including  8 globally acclaimed Turkish TV series: Karadayi, Black Money Love, 20 Minutes, Kurt Seyit & Shura, Moms and Mothers, Red Scarf, Five Brothers and The End.

TDC is proud to share the talents of the brilliant, popular and respected Turkish actors Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, Berguzar Korel, Farah Zeynep Abdullah, Kenan İmirzalıoğlu, Tuba Büyüküstün along with many others with a worldwide audience in these award winning drama series.

The channel will be initially broadcasted in 10 languages including Bulgarian, Romanian, Macedonian, Serbian, Croatian, Albanian, and Arabic with English subtitles.The channel is available throughout Europe on the EUTELSAT 16A satellite. SPI/FilmBox signed broadcast agreements with six operators: Kujtesa and Ipko Kosovo, Digit-Alb and RTL Albania, A1 Croatia and A1 Macedonia. In the near future the channel will be broadcasted with multiple operators in MENA and APAC, Baltics and CIS, stay tuned.
